Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Develop an initial approach to diagnostic evaluation of patients with ILD
  2. Apply recent guidelines for the diagnosis of interstitial lung diseases to real world patients
  3. Describe the medical treatment of patients with ILD, including therapy initiation, monitoring, modification
  4. Discuss options for patients with more advanced ILD, including lung transplantation and palliative care

Interstitial Lung Diseases: Optimizing Diagnosis and Management in 2024 will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 by in-person or live-stream (virtual) attendance. The live and virtual presentations will follow the scheduled agenda in real time (EST).

The Arthur H. Rubenstein Auditorium at the Smilow Center for Translational Research is located on floor 1 of the Perelman Center for Academic Research, 3400 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA. We strongly recommend you use GPS for exact directions to and from your starting point or if you prefer, take public transportation to and from campus, please visit http://www.upenn.edu/services/transportation for options.
 
Parking: 3600 Civic Center Parking Garage is open to those attending the conference.
Parking is $20 per day. Parking fees will not be validated or reimbursed.
 
The fees to attend in-person and virtually are as follows: $75 for physicians and industry attendees, $50 for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and $25 for residents, fellows, students and Penn Medicine employees, faculty and staff.
 
Registration includes access to view the presentations online for one year. Walk-ins are discouraged. Please be sure to register in advance.
 
IN-PERSON ATTENDEES
All pre-registered, in-person attendees will receive access to the conference, a conference handout, continental breakfast, lunch and breaks.
