Course Overview
This course is designed to provide the audience with the most current clinical advances in ophthalmology and highlight on-going research at the Scheie Eye Institute in the fields of glaucoma, anterior segment, retinal diseases, genetics, oculoplastic surgery, neuro-ophthalmology and ocular pathology.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Identify and manage complicated oculoplastic cases in the pediatric age group
  2. Clarify new evaluation methods in the management, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma
  3. Identify factors related to severe vision loss in African-Americans with glaucoma
  4. Review insights into the prognosis, diagnosis and management of age related and other inherited forms of macular degeneration
  5. Discuss new diagnostic modalities and approaches to the management of ocular surface abnormalities and dry eye disease

Registration
There is no registration fee to attend the 147th Scheie Eye Anniversary Meeting, however pre-registration is required and you must be signed into the virtual platform the day of the meeting in order to receive credit.
 
Registration includes live stream access to the conference and access to view the presentations (slides) online. All pre-registered attendees will receive a link and instructions to sign-in and join the virtual meeting by Thursday, April 15, 2021.
