    Course Overview
    The Thoracic Case Conference goals are aligned with clinical and programmatic goals established by the Cancer Committee, and include continual review of changes in quality of care as revealed by medical review or patient care reviews and regular evaluation of data to compare with external benchmarks.

    ANESTHESIOLOGY, EMERGENCY MEDICINE, FAMILY MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, MEDICAL GENETICS AND GENOMICS - Medical Biochemical Genetics, MEDICAL GENETICS AND GENOMICS - Molecular Genetic Pathology, OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY, OTOLARYNGOLOGY, PATHOLOGY - CLINICAL, PREVENTIVE MEDICINE - Clinical Informatics, PUBLIC HEALTH AND GENERAL PREVENTIVE MEDICINE, RADIATION ONCOLOGY, RADIOLOGY - Neuroradiology, SURGERY, SURGERY - Complex General Surgical Oncology, UROLOGY

    AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance / Participation (1.00 hours), Nursing Contact Hours (1.00 hours), Patient Safety/Risk Management PSRM (1.00 hours)

    Objectives
    1. Provide consultative services for patients to formulate an effective treatment plan.
    2. Identify opportunities for the healthcare IP team to improve the patient care process
    3. Assure compliance with national care guidelines in reference to discussion of stage, including prognostic indicators, and treatment planning, and overall quality of care
