    Course Overview
    The goal of this activity is to provide a regularly scheduled forum for reviewing issues related to patient satisfaction, patient safety, and quality of care. The series provides an opportunity for medical staff of different departments to raise issues and concerns, discuss strategies to optimize medical care, and review performance metrics. The activity also provides an outlet for learning and disseminating the latest relevant evidence-based literature, such as guidelines.

    ALLERGY AND IMMUNOLOGY, ANESTHESIOLOGY, EMERGENCY MEDICINE, FAMILY MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, NEUROLOGICAL SURGERY, OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY, OPHTHALMOLOGY, ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY, RADIOLOGY - Neuroradiology, SURGERY, UROLOGY

    AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance / Participation (1.00 hours), Nursing Contact Hours (1.00 hours), Patient Safety/Risk Management PSRM (1.00 hours), ACPE (1.00 hours)

    Objectives
    1. Use hospital resources wisely and in a cost-effective manner, while still maintaining appropriate standards of patient care
    2. Closely monitor outcomes of care to ensure that they compare favorably to local and national standards
    3. Maintain good patient care/interactions or make necessary improvements to maximize positive patient experiences
