Course Overview
Bi-monthly Divisional Conference for neonatology faculty, fellows, and APPs in addition to Intensive Care Nursery nurses and respiratory therapists. Topics are rotating and include Morbidity and Mortality conference; Resuscitation Video Review, a review of team dynamics and best practices in delivery room and in-unit resuscitations; Health Equity Conference, identifying best practices to mitigate the impact of social determinants of health on neonatal patients and their families; and joint neonatology/MFM conference, which reviews upcoming high-risk deliveries and recently delivered patients with embedded education about perinatal topics.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss local data and outcomes related to neonatal morbidity and mortality
  2. Describe new evidence-based practices to mitigate morbidity in neonates
  3. Discuss opportunities to improve local practices to improve neonatal outcomes
