Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss how to improve communication between practitioners of distinct disciplines involved in patient care.
  2. Describe, cooperate, collaborate, communicate, and integrate patient care through a multidisciplinary team approach.
  3. Discuss how to better align patients' treatment regimens for asthma, COPD and lung cancer with current clinical guidelines.
  4. Describe how to improve recognition of rare diseases and unusual presentations of common diseases.


In support of improving patient care, Penn Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
