This course is a comprehensive review of hematologic malignancies focusing on research developments over the preceding year and their application to the patient care journey. Didactic presentations will include case discussion with Penn faculty and community experts. Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Identify clinical features, including differential diagnoses for the various hematologic malignancies
  2. Identify late effects and survivorship issues following cellular therapy
  3. Implement strategies that incorporate state-of-the-art genomic analysis for hematologic malignancies
  4. Identify new data for hereditary myeloid disorders
  5. Select appropriate hematologic malignancy patients for immunotherapy
  6. Select appropriate clinical trials for hematologic malignancies
  7. Identify the major patient management issues experienced by the interprofessional care team associated with hematologic malignancies
  8. Apply new strategies for incorporating therapies that target metabolism in blood cancers
