Course Overview
Educational series to provide physicians and nurses the knowledge and skills to apply to and improve patient care practices.

Target Audience
Specialties - EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Learning Objectives
  1. Review and update knowledge needed to care for pediatric emergencies. Review location of and appropriate use of lifesaving equipment for our pediatric patients.
  2. Apply evidence from the current literature and incorporate new strategies, techniques and therapies to patient care
  3. More effectively communicate with other health professionals in care team
  4. More effectively care for critically ill patients with traumatic injuries
  5. Utilize hospital resources in a more effective manner
