This symposium is designed as a two-day educational program with a series of lectures on adult extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and mechanical circulatory support (ECMO/MCS). It will also offer the opportunity for training on extracorporeal technique to support cardiac and respiratory patients whose heart and lungs are unable to provide an adequate amount of gas exchange to sustain life.
