This activity is designed to provide evidence-based interprofessional education about Palliative and End-of-Life care to hospital-based, outpatient, and home care clinicians who engage in the care of patient with serious illnesses.

At Penn Medicine, our program has grown in response to the devastating impact of opioid use in our vulnerable community. Yet, based on electronic medical record data, fewer than 20% of patients receive MOUDs while admitted to the hospital, and there are treatment needs in our community that are not addressed by our outpatient clinics.
