The presentation elevates the physicians’ awareness on many different issues that protect them and the institution from unwanted risks. The sessions address issues such as improving medical record systems, preventive medicine education and communication between providers, all in an effort to improve patient care and manage risk. Additionally, our presentations boost provider confidence in code selection. The following are addressed: documentation requirements for Evaluation and Management services rendered and procedures performed; regulations covering Teaching Physician rules; Incident-To; Split Shared Billing; among other specialty specific topics. The above topics are typically illustrated through the use of case studies.
