Course Overview
This program addresses practical challenges in imaging interpretation and aims to enhance diagnostic skills across a spectrum of common and rare clinical scenarios. Participants will delve into innovative imaging protocols, focusing on identifying potential pitfalls. The curriculum spans selected topics in neuroradiology, abdominal, breast, thoracic, & musculoskeletal radiology. Daily case conferences spotlight missed diagnoses and misinterpretations, offering valuable learning opportunities.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Apply the current advances in radiology for accurate image interpretation of common and uncommon diseases across multiple radiologic subspecialties.
  2. Design and implement appropriate imaging protocols to optimize diagnostic accuracy and minimize pitfalls
  3. Review the updated classification of CNS neoplasms, and provide practical tips to distinguish tumor progression from treatment effects and tumor mimics.
  4. Apply ACR diagnostic criteria to thyroid (TI-RADS), adnexal lesions (O-RADS), and liver (LI-RADS)
  5. Learn how to improve diagnostic accuracy across a spectrum of benign and malignant breast pathologies, including imaging of special populations
  6. Discuss the framework for developing a differential diagnosis for diffuse lung diseases
  7. Recognize early and late complications in the postoperative spine
  8. Indentify and discuss common perceptual and interpretive errors through daily missed case conferences.

Nurses: This program provides 24.00 NCPD Hours.
