Course Overview
The program will draw upon recent clinical advances and guidelines, as well as the presenters’ clinical experience, to provide a practical approach to diagnosis and management of patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD).  The format will be primarily case-based discussions, with presentation of evidence where it helps inform management decisions. The participant will come away from the conference with increased confidence in diagnosing and managing patients with a variety of interstitial lung diseases.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Develop an initial approach to diagnostic evaluation of patients with ILD
  2. Apply recent guidelines for the diagnosis of interstitial lung diseases to real world patients
  3. Describe the medical treatment of patients with ILD, including therapy initiation, monitoring, modification
  4. Discuss options for patients with more advanced ILD, including lung transplantation and palliative care

Registration
The registration fees to attend Interstitial Lung Diseases are as follows: $75 for physicians and industry representatives, $50 for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals and $25 for fellows and residents.
