Course Overview
Please join us for a one-day symposium to learn more about cancer risks associated with Lynch syndrome and the state-of-the-art strategies and ongoing treatment options. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from a multi-disciplinary team of experts at the forefront of ground-breaking research and discovery. Please note this is a hybrid event- you can attend in-person or opt for a virtual viewing experience, however there will be some portions of the symposium that are not available virtually.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Define gene-specific Lynch syndrome cancer risks and options for integrating into personalized early-detection and cancer prevention strategies
  2. Compare and contrast evidence-based approaches and emerging practices in identifying and caring for individuals with Lynch syndrome, such as cancer surveillance, treatment and risk-reducing medical management, in addition to potential immune-based prevention strategies
  3. Define cutting-edge basic science research initiatives driving the understanding of Lynch syndrome cancer biology and potential therapeutic approaches

In support of improving patient care, Penn Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
