Patient cases are presented by the managing attending physician and/or resident physician. Cases are presented prior to start or within first several treatments of radiation therapy. The cases are reviewed by peer physicians, and the overall interprofessional team (nurses, nurse practitioners etc.). Cases are reviewed for appropriateness of the treatment plan, target definition, and radiation doses. Recommend any changes as needed.

Objectives

  1. Discuss differential diagnosis in complex oncology cases
  2. Describe how to apply targeted dosing strategies
  3. Discuss how to implement into practice recommended guidelines on patient care
