The Penn Metastatic Breast Collaboration will discuss disease biology and treatment toxicity management of patients engaged in standard of care therapy as well as those enrolled in metastatic breast clinical trials, reviewing eligibility criteria and enhancing access, compliance, and procedures to metastatic breast cancer clinical trials in an effort to increase knowledge of current & innovative therapies to treat metastatic breast malignancies for the care teams.

Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss acute complications of common therapies for metastatic breast cancer
  2. Discuss standard of care for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer
  3. Describe current applicable clinical trials for patients with metastatic breast cancer
  4. Describe barriers to access for clinical trials
