Provides educational opportunities for research staff of the ACC CRU on topics related to operations, regulatory and quality assurance applications to ensure quality research in the ACC CRU and effective partnership with collaborating departments, Past educational opportunities have included: (1) Overview of Ongoing Cardio-Oncology Research, (2) Overview of Cardiotoxicity of Common Cancer Treatments & Pertinent Cardio-Oncology Drug Interactions, (3) Cardiovascular AE Reporting on Oncology Trials, (4) Best Practices: Documentation in Clinical Research, (5) Identifying Frailty in Patients with Hematologic Malignancies, (6) Conducting Human Subject Research Under IRB Reliance Agreements, and (7) Hypersensitivity Reactions to Antineoplastic Agents.
