  2. Discuss current medical standards from an interprofessional perspective
  3. Discuss standard of care practices to the clinical or disease scenario using an interdisciplinary perspective

Objective(s): 1 Discuss the Identification of basic abdominal anatomy and landmarks 2 Describe the Use of systematic search pattern for interpreting an abdominal plain film 3 Describe terms commonly used in radiology reports including: lucency, opacity, attenuation, Hounsfield units (HU), hyperechoic, hypoechoic 4 Discuss the utility, most appropriate diagnostic test, limitations, indications, and contraindications to various radiologic tests including plain X-ray, CT and ultrasound 5 Describe how to Categorize different tissues from most to least opaque on x-ray including: bone, soft tissue, air, metal, and fat 6 Discuss how to Recognize abdominal organs on cross sectional imaging studies
