Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Provide a concise definition of implementation science.
  2. Explain the utility of theories, models, and frameworks in applying principles from implementation science.
  3. List at least four implementation outcomes distinct from clinical or effectiveness outcomes.
  4. Discuss the importance of matching implementation strategies to contextual factors.
  5. Describe at least three equity-related challenges in using implementation science principles or approaches.
