HUP Quality and Safety Grand Rounds is a bimonthly educational session for all HUP Staff focused on quality and safety. We will provide evidence-based information and best practices on a variety of important areas. Topics will be presented by an interprofessional team and will be selected jointly driven by the areas of highest quality and safety opportunity. One example was prevention of hospital acquired infections. We presented local data, evidence based practice information and tangible ways to improve practice. It was geared to all HUP staff including but not limited to RNs, APPs/MDs, MAs, respiratory and pharmacy staff and other hospital staff. The presenters included an ambassador, a provider, nursing, leaders in environment of care and quality and safety hospital leadership.
