Course Overview

The overall goal of this curriculum is for learners to be better able to recognize CIDP and MMN in a timely manner and use appropriate therapies for the management of both. Each of these interactive 25-minute presentations will conclude with 5 minutes of faculty Q&A and be accompanied by 20 to 40 synchronized slides.

Bringing CIDP to Life: Merging Science, Symptoms, and Diagnosis
This activity is intended for neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, infusion specialists, and other clinicians who see/treat patients with immune-mediated neuropathies (eg, primary care physicians, orthopedists/orthopedic surgeons, pharmacists). 

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better aware of the causes, symptoms, and diagnosis of CIDP. 

Multifocal Motor Neuropathy: Getting Into Focus with Causes, Symptoms, and Diagnosis
This activity is intended for neurologists, nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), nurses, infusion specialists, and other clinicians who see/treat patients with immune-mediated neuropathies (eg, primary care physicians [PCPs], orthopedists/orthopedic surgeons, pharmacists).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better aware of the causes, symptoms, and diagnosis of multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN).


Therapeutic Considerations for the Management of CIDP and MMN: Case Reviews
This activity is intended for neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, infusion specialists, and other clinicians who see/treat patients with immune-mediated neuropathies (eg, primary care physicians, orthopedists/orthopedic surgeons, pharmacists).

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recognize best practices in the management of CIDP and MMN.


Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Penn Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  

Designation of Credit
Physicians: Penn Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses: This program provides 1.50 NCPD hours
