Melanoma and Cutaneous Malignancy Tumor Board is designed to give healthcare professionals the opportunity to collaborate on the care of patients who have been diagnosed with melanoma, skin cancer, or other skin malignancy/risk factors. Providers submit their most complex cases in order to seek insight on the best patient care via the collaboration of clinicians such as surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses.

Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss a multidisciplinary approach to care for patients with melanoma and other malignant skin diseases
  2. Discuss how to provide a plan for accurate diagnosis, complete staging, and proper treatment for patients.
  3. Describe how to treat and manage patients with melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies using both proven standardized methods and consider current investigative clinical trials.
