Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss appropriate screening and diagnostic testing for common conditions based on current evidence.
  2. Describe how to apply evidence-based medicine to treat common conditions seen in internal medicine subspecialty practices.
  3. Discuss how to identify the need for appropriate subspecialty consultation for complex conditions.
