These sessions will bring content experts from many aspects of the University including Penn Medicine and CHOP to address relevant and contemporary issues in delivering care to medically underserved patient populations.

1. Review the latest evidence for patient safety education for care teams
2. Identify mechanisms for identifying and reporting safety issues
3. Discuss how to initiate, plan and lead a sustainable, multidisciplinary patient safety or quality improvement project

In support of improving patient care, Penn Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  

Penn Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
