Course Overview
Zarina Ali, MD, MS, FAANS; L. Scott Levin, MD, FACS, FAOA; and Benjamin Abramoff, MD, MS will review recent cases related to the surgical treatment and rehabilitation for nerve and muscle tendon transfers. The cases will provide a review of current treatments and procedures, while highlighting new skills and strategies for enhancing patient outcomes and restoring function. Drs. Ali, Levin and Abramoff will reference the Penn Nerve Center and explain how uniting the neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and rehabilitation disciplines helps provide a streamlined approach to patient care.

In this course, expert faculty from the Penn Nerve Center will present three cases, while demonstrating the benefits of collaborating across specialties for successful diagnosis and cutting-edge treatment. The course will conclude with a Q&A panel, featuring all three Penn Medicine physicians.
