Course Overview
Sudden cardiac arrest affects approximately 300,000 people in the United States every year. There is increasing evidence that implementation of comprehensive post-cardiac arrest care, such as targeted temperature management (TTM), and percutaneous coronary therapies (PCI) among other therapies, can improve the overall mortality rate and outcomes in patient in post-cardiac arrest care.

This breakfast symposium will focus on the latest in post-cardiac arrest neurocritical care; including a discussion of the HYPERION trial of TTM for non-shockable rhythm arrests, just published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
