Course Overview

This series of courses, “Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) Education for Practitioners,” has value not only to residency training programs, but can also be a standard teaching tool for the entire anesthesia provider team, including Staff Anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and Procedural Physicians supervising the delivery of anesthesia in the NORA setting.

There are five (5) modules available, each requiring registration. You may take one or all modules, in any order you choose.

Registration

The registration fees for each course for individuals are as follows:  $49 for Attending Physicians; $25 for Fellows/Residents/Students; and $37.50 for CRNAs, Nurses, and Other Healthcare Professionals.

Course registrations for groups of learners are available for purchase by institutions as well.  If an institution purchases registrations for all 5 courses for up to 49 individuals, it will receive 1 complimentary set of registrations per 4 purchased.  If an institution purchases registrations for all 5 courses for 50 or more individuals, it will receive 1 complimentary set of registrations per 3 purchased.  Please contact [email protected] to make arrangements for your program/anesthesia team. Nurses: This activity is approved for 0.75 contact hours.

 

Physician Assistants: AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. PAs may receive a maximum of 0.75 Category 1 credits for completing this activity.
