Genetic Counselors as Educators: Practical Teaching Strategies for Genetic Counselors (EDU)

This nineteen-part series is designed to provide bioethics education for genetic counselors, covering foundational principles, legal perspectives, and considerations across various specialties and life stages.

This course is supported by a grant from the Warren Alpert Foundation. Fees for this course will be paid by the grant until we reach 250. After that there will be a $35 registration fee.

CEU submissions to the NSGC for Genetic Counselors will take place during the following months of 2026 & 2027: January, March, April, June, August, October, and December. The final submission for 2026 will occur in early December. All certificates must be received by Monday, December 7, 2026, to ensure submission. Any certificate received after December 7th will be submitted in January 2027. This CEU will be available until February 17, 2027.

The first 250 Genetic Counselors who complete all modules and evaluations will have their NSGC credit fees covered. Once your completion of the modules is confirmed, you will receive a link to complete the online evaluations for each module. Individuals will not be eligible for NSGC CEU credits until all modules and course evaluations are complete.

Participants must complete all of the following steps in order to earn NSGC credits.
