This program will provide an overview of recent advances that target the underlying pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and an updated approach to the management of hypertension, lipids, and cardiometabolic disease.

Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. List how to screen for and treat primary aldosteronism
  2. Describe how to utilize Lp(a) in lipid management.
  3. Identify patients in whom coronary artery calcium score should be obtained and understand how the result impacts lipid management.
  4. Discuss the risk and benefits of various wearable device technologies.
