Previously, the best of these cases have been identified by faculty at HUP and reviewed internally in a series “Peer learning conferences” to illustrate pitfalls in interpretation as well as to showcase and educate others regarding “best practices”. These conferences have been highly valued by our faculty.

Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss challenging and uncommon cases identified through peer learning
  2. Describe how to recognize diagnostic pitfalls, reduce interpretive errors, and improve accuracy in abdominal imaging
  3. Describe individual and system-based knowledge gaps revealed through peer review
  4. Discuss how to develop targeted strategies to enhance clinical performance and team-based practice
  5. Describe evidence-informed and process-based improvements that strengthen communication with referring clinicians and advance patient-centered care outcomes
