The Multidisciplinary Tumor Board unites surgical, medical, and radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, and supportive care teams to review complex breast cancer cases, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:


  1. Discuss patient’s treatment plan amongst members of the care team
  2. Describe how to implement up to date methods to diagnose and treat the patient's breast malignancy
  3. Describe the standard of care for the management of the patients presented as reflected in national practice guidelines
